Silica Exposure Plan Seminar
This short course is a practical, hands-on presentation to develop the student’s knowledge of and responsibilities toward silica exposure. The course develops the competent person’s ability to assess their workplace for silica hazards. Using the OSHA Small Entity Compliance Guide, students will create a basic exposure control plan including requirements for employee training, and medical surveillance. The course overviews how and when students can and should reach out to get more advanced help.
Bryan Seal, MS, CIH, CSP, CHMM, REHS. Is the industrial hygiene supervisor for the PA OSHA Consultation Program out of the Indiana University of PA. Bryan has more than 25 years of experience in the Health and Safety profession. He has also worked for OSHA as an Area Director and at the National Office in Washington, DC in both the Standards and the Enforcement Directorates.
