West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association is actively involved in our local, state, and national government. WBSBA's Government Affairs Committee creates a direct line where we help in the fight to shape local, state (PBA) and national (NAHB) legislative efforts. We encourage all of our members to consider joining our GA Committee where you can help our voices be heard.

From tax increases to changes in building codes, the results of many legislative decisions impact your livelihood. PBA's Government Affairs staff monitors legislative, legal and regulatory issues that affect the building industry. We develop clear, practical positions on issues that matter to the industry and our consumers. We make sure that our voice is heard, loud and clear, and we reach and influence decision-makers at all levels of government

If you have a stake in home building, then you know that every day Congress makes decisions that affect the home building industry and your bottom line.

PBA believes that strong legislative initiatives and lobbying are needed for ultimate government affairs successes on behalf of our members and the building industry in Pennsylvania. Because of this, many of our efforts are directed at advocating for builders and consumers on the Hill, promoting grassroots initiatives, fighting harmful regulations and promoting beneficial legislation.

PBA represents the home building industry at the state level, and often works with individual locals at the municipal level. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) represents our industry at the federal level.
