Dear Prospective Member:

 

Thank you for your inquiry into membership in the Builders Association.  Enclosed is the official application (three pages) which, if you’re interested, would need to be completed and returned with your check in the amount of $350 for our annual dues. We also require a copy of your insurance certificate.  Applications received by the 25th of each month are published in our newsletter for member comments, and then presented at the following meeting of the Board of Directors for their approval.

 

When joining the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association (WBSBA), you also become a member of the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

 

WBSBA serves Lycoming County.  From September through May, normally on the third Tuesday of each month, a dinner meeting is held for WBSBA members.  Most of our dinners are sponsored, and therefore are offered to members at a reduced cost. This is a great opportunity to meet other members and learn what’s happening in the Association.  The location is announced in the monthly Newsletters.  Our Board Meetings are held on the Monday before the third Tuesday of each month.

 

Some special event months include:  Feb/March, annual Home Show to be held at the Lycoming College Rec Center, February 28 - March 2, 2008; Family Picnic at Knoebel’s Amusement Park (normally the last Saturday of July); Legislative Dinner in October; and Holiday Party in December.

 

Your firm may have additional representatives who wish to be included on the mailing list and to attend the dinner meetings.  If so, the fee for Affiliate members (of the local association only) is $45 per year and spouses or others may join our Women’s Council (local, state and national) for a fee of $35 per year.
