EXHIBITOR’S CONTRACT
WEST BRANCH SUSQUEHANNA BUILDERS ASSOCIATION HOME SHOW
FEBRUARY 28 – MARCH 2, 2008
Agreement between the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association, hereinafter called “Association,” and “Exhibitor,” for the purpose of exhibiting in the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association Home Show to be held at the Lycoming College Recreation Center, East Fourth Street, Williamsport, PA from February 28 through March 2, 2008.
Exhibit hours shall be:
Thursday, February 28, 2008 5 PM to 9 PM
Friday, February 29, 2008 5 PM to 9 PM
Saturday, March 1, 2008 10 AM to 8 PM
Sunday, March 2, 2008 12 PM to 5 PM

Home Show Program Ad size/cost: 1/8 & 1/10 page - $50; 1/4 page - $85; ½ page - $165;
Full page - $275; ½ cover page - $220; full cover page - $330.
In consideration of the mutual covenants set forth below, the parties agree as follows:
1. All exhibits must be designed, constructed and operated in good taste and in the best interest of the
show. Cleaning and maintenance of the booth will be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. All displays must be restrained within the limits of the Exhibitor’s booth or booths. Backdrops will be provided in the form of 8' curtains. Side curtains shall also be provided. The use of electricity shall be limited to one 110 volt, 5 amp electrical outlet (provided at each booth). No compressors nor heaters nor any equipment requiring more than 5 amps may be connected or powered. Exhibitors must provide their own extension cords, tables and chairs.
2. Exhibitor shall not assign nor sublet any part of the space herein contracted.
3. Insurance desired by Exhibitor must be secured at his own expense. The Association will not be
responsible nor will they guarantee any Exhibitor against loss of any kind. All Exhibitors MUST provide a certificate of insurance with the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association Home Show as the named insured prior to assignment and occupation of booth. The minimum coverage amount is to be $500,000.
4. Unnecessary noises, loud attention-getters or loud radio, TV, organ music or any other type of noisy
demonstration, including PA systems are forbidden. Video machines, including slide projectors and VCR’s, may be used provided that any accompanying audio is maintained at a level so as not to disturb other Exhibitors.
5. Exhibitors are liable for any damage caused to the building, floors, walls, columns or ceilings, or
to provided booth equipment, or to other Exhibitors’ property. The Exhibitor is also prohibited
from using any fasteners of any type including tape to secure any portion of his/her exhibit to the
floor. Exhibitors may not apply paint, lacquer, adhesive, tape or any other coating to building
columns, floor or walls or to provided booth equipment. No signs or display materials may be
fastened to or suspended from the booth drapes or building. However, exhibitors may rent
space to display a banner advertisement, maximum height 3 ft., to be secured with plastic wire
ties to the bottom railing overlooking the main exhibitor floor. Railing space will be rented at the
rate of $10 per running lineal foot. Materials for decorations, etc. shall be flame-proof type.
6. All Exhibitors are to set up during the following time periods only:
Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008 12:00 noon until 9:00 PM
Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM
Disassembly of exhibits will not be permitted prior to 5:00 PM, Sunday,
March 2, 2008. All booth materials must be removed from the Rec Center and Lycoming
College property by Sunday evening or they will be removed by the Association and the
Exhibitor charged for disposal of said material with no liability to the WBSBA for such disposal.
A fee will be levied upon any exhibitor who leaves any debris in the building or upon any
exhibitor who has not completely removed his display by 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 2, 2008.
7. Any exhibitor failing to occupy space contracted by 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 28, 2008, will forfeit the
full rental for such space provided in signed contract. If not occupied by the time set for the completion
of installation of displays, such space may be possessed by the Association for such purpose as it may
see fit for the enhancement of the Show.
8. In the event of any emergency, if it becomes necessary to postpone or cancel the show prior to the
grand opening, all money paid by the Exhibitor for space will be refunded and the Exhibitor shall and
does waive any claim for damages.
9. The Association reserves the right to alter locations of Exhibitors or of booths as shown on the official
floor plan if deemed in the best interest of the show.
10. No smoking will be allowed in the facility. Outside doors must not be propped open.
Doors will have audible alarms and be monitored by Lycoming College Security alarm system. An area
will be designated for smoking near the exterior of the main entrance.
11. Due to the floor construction and College regulations, no food or beverages will be allowed in Exhibition
areas. Exhibitors will have responsibility to provide adequate protection for Recreation Center floor. All
exhibitors must provide carpet for their entire booth space. The WBSBA will provide tape to secure the
carpet edge. No other tape will be permitted.
12. PARKING. Due to the large number of spectators attending the Home Show, all Exhibitors will be required to park in a designated parking area. Instructions will accompany executed contract and booth assignments.
13. The Exhibitor agrees that his/her exhibit shall be admitted and shall remain from day to day solely in
strict compliance with the rules herein laid down. All exhibits are to be of a display type, presenting a message to the prospective buyer or to the home-owning patron and are to be neatly maintained throughout the show. No packing cartons, crates, etc. may be stored where visible to visitors of the show. The display must basically pertain to the product or products being merchandised. Any promotional materials, door prizes, etc. must be displayed in an aside manner and constitute not more than 5% of the display materials.
14. The Exhibitor agrees that all Home Show participants of his/her firm will have an authorized exhibitor’s
badge holder or pay the daily entrance fee to gain admission. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility
to ensure that all EMPLOYEE participants have been made aware of all contract requirements.
15. The Association reserves the right to reject, eject, or prohibit any exhibit in whole or in part, or any
Exhibitor or his representatives. If cause is not given, liability shall not exceed the return to Exhibitor
of the amount of the rental unearned at the time of ejection. If any exhibit or Exhibitor is ejected for violation of these rules, or for any other stated reasons, no refund of rental fee shall be made.
16. Any and all matters or questions not specifically covered by the preceding rules and regulations shall
be subject solely to the decisions of the Association. These rules and regulations may be amended at any time by the Association, providing that such amendments shall not operate to substantially increase the liability of the Exhibitor. All amendments so made shall be binding upon all Exhibitors equally with the foregoing rules and regulations. All special requests by Exhibitors shall be directed in writing to the WBSBA Home Show Chairperson or the Executive Officers.
17. The Exhibitors, for themselves and their employees, agree to abide with the foregoing rules and
regulations and by any amendments or additions thereto that may hereafter be established or put into
affect by the Association, provided that such amendments or additions shall not operate to substantially
diminish rights not reserved to Exhibitor under the contract and shall not operate to substantially
increase the liability of the Exhibitor.
18. The rules governing this Show have been established to benefit everyone and to be fair to everyone
on an equal basis. Please abide by them. Remember, the success or failure of this Show depends on
its Exhibitors. Let’s all try to make this Show the best ever.

I, the Exhibitor, understand that final booth placement will be determined by the WBSBA and that every attempt will be made to assign booths on a first come, first served basis. I further understand that members in good standing who participated in the 2007 Home Show will be guaranteed the same booth (if desired) in the 2008 Show if paid by August 31, 2007; and all other exhibitors will be chosen by date received with preference given to WBSBA members.

An accepted copy of your contract will be mailed to you along with booth assignment(s), complimentary tickets, and three (3) exhibitor badge holders (request more if needed). Packets will be mailed out by the beginning of December. To be admitted to the Show, everyone must pay admission or have an exhibitor’s badge (three provided per exhibitor; additional are available upon request).
